Life in a Uniun Civil War Camp
Soldiers read, writ letters, played baseball, played cards, had boxing matches, and pretty much did whatever they could think of in their free time.

Soldiers were not supposed to have alchohol in camp, soldiers found ways around the rule.
the tents the army first used were sibly tents after that they used a wedge shaped tent.
